AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$33,680 million for December 2014, down by 3.1% month-over-month and up by 0.9% year-over-year. Consolidated revenues in the fourth quarter of 2014 were NT$105,449 million, down by 1.3% from the previous quarter and increased by 2.7% year-over-year.
For the year ended December 31, 2014, unaudited consolidated revenues totaled NT$408,179 million, a decrease of 2.0% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels(1) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications were around 9.35 million units in December 2014, down by 3.8% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments decreased by 4.1% month-over-month to nearly 12.93 million units.

In the fourth quarter of 2014, large-sized panel shipments reached above 29.40 million units, slightly down by 0.3% quarter-over-quarter and decreased by 2.5% year-over-year. Shipments of small-and-medium-sized panels in the same quarter exceeded 42.71 million units, down by 11.4% quarter-over-quarter and up by 3.7% year-over-year.

For the full year of 2014, large-sized panel shipments totaled around 116.92 million units, remaining flat from the previous year. Small and medium-sized panel shipments reached around 170.71 million units, up by 11.9% compared to the previous year.
